Everything you need to compete. Simple to enter — but complete, so every submission counts and every winner is fairly chosen.

Who Can Enter

Open to students currently enrolled at an 1890 land-grant college or university. Proof of current enrollment is required with your submission.

The Categories

Choose one category per submission:

R&B — perform over the official R&B demo
Hip Hop — perform over the official Hip Hop demo

How to Submit

Record your rendition of "5th Quarter" using the provided beat, then submit through the entry form on this page. Audio or video accepted.

Accepted formats: MP3, WAV, MP4, MOV
Submission window: Sept 1 – Sept 30

Originality & Ownership

Your performance must be your own. The original lyrics and music of "5th Quarter" are owned and controlled by PickinGreens Productions. Any commercial release of a winning version requires a separate written agreement.

Releases Required

Every entrant must agree to:

A student submission release
A media / name, image & likeness release

Prizes & Payment

$2,500 to each category winner
Winners may complete a prize acceptance form
Winners may be required to complete applicable tax forms
Eligibility verified before any prize is awarded
